Amber is a prizewinning restaurant in Central Hong Kong at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental. The Dutch chef Richard Ekkebus leads the culinary team, making excellent recipes using high-quality ingredients, with a low degree of seasoning.

One Grand Hyatt Hong Kong Harbor Road blends popular Cantonese recipes with high-quality ingredients such as crab claw, wagyu beef with abalone. The interior of the restaurant is similar to the house of the 1930s, with fancy tableware, wood furniture, and glass mosaics on the centerpiece fountain.

Yan Toh Heen is a great Cantonese restaurant with spectacular views of the harbor on Intercontinental Hong Kong. The gourmet dim sum menu is the best place to have a very nice lunch. Fish and meat specialties such as black truffle, bird’s nest, and abalone are delicately seasoned with exotic delicacies.

New Territories – Seafood
Sai Kung Seafood Street is one of the best restaurants for local seafood in the New Territories. Across the small coastal villages, there are several restaurants where dinners are casual, inexpensive, and authentically local.
Seafood lovers will take a stroll along the seafront to buy freshly caught fish directly from the deck or even directly from the boat.
