1. Dragonfly – Top Bars In Hong Kong
Another Tai Kwun hotspot is Dragonfly, which is a masterpiece in Hong Kong created by Ashley Sutton, a man of fashion behind some of Hong Kong’s most trendy bars and restaurants, such as Dear Lilly to J. Boroski or Iron Fairies. This time out, American artist Louis Comfort Tiffany became an inspiration for Sutton. Dragonfly Bar is one of the most enticing openings of the year, with the ceiling lined by art lamps, modeled on the bar like wings and a massive dragonfly.

3. The Artist House
The Artist House is a hipster’s fantasy, part beer bar, part coffee shop, and newly introduced to the Causeway Bay Fashion Walk. It is a magnificent place. Concentrated on wood panelling and exposed brick, it’s elegant and uncluttered and maintains a good balance between rustic, casual and cool. A weird, sweet touch for a picture can be created thanks to the clouds that hover under the roof.

4. PDT

Since it opened in early 2018, PDT appears to be one of the best bars in Hong Kong to visit year round. The door is mock phone booth, and the walls are decorated with taxidermied animal and swish wooden ceiling frames. This is ridiculed by the popular original in New York. This is a comfortable place to sit down in the wonderful scenery with a cocktail.

5. Room 309

In the Pottinger Hotel, Room 309 is a cocktail paradise. Room 309 is a windowless space with wonderful illumination and candles that barely reach the dim and richly decorated interior. The iconic ‘crystal’ drinks – transparent forms of classics such as an Old Fashioned – are esthetically matched to the décor.
